Hi Everyone! Its time for the next Kansas City meetup Wednesday, May 23rd at 7:30pm at The Well in Waldo. Come out and meet some fellow BP'ers and chat all things real estate investing. No experience needed, just come hang out. There is no formal presentation and no agenda. Just lots of great networking and information to be had. We are trying to get a table on the rooftop patio but might be relegated to the downstairs main room. Ask at the door when you come in where we're located. I'll try to put a sign on the table. Organized by @Quinten Sepe, @John Wires and myself. :-)

Im currently paying between $400-$700 per unit per year for MF depending on size and coverage in KC MO. 

@Andrew R. I like Stanley Appraisals out of Overland Park. They do both KS and MO and are reasonable and fast. 

@NA Smith this event was changed to the 12th and is no longer happening on the 19th. I will keep you updated on the next monthly meetup! :-) 

Since you are up north you should join us at the KC North BP meetup. Its happening this Thursday April 12 at 7:30pm at Nick and Jakes in Parkville, MO. Just casual chat about RE investing. Hope to see you there. :-)

Hi @Account Closed I've become very familiar with this neighborhood over the last several months. I was the selling agent on a 6 plex on Gladstone Blvd to a fellow BP member and currently have a 12 unit listed for sale on St. John. Both are in the Scarritt Renaissance neighborhood and have gorgeous old architecture. The area has a few rough streets but there is definitely a revival going on. Two bed and breakfasts have opened on Gladstone. There was a remodel of a large park and new commercial is starting to trickle in. In talking with renters and owners, people are happy with the proximity to downtown and the kitchy vibe thats starting to happen. Im a fan and encourage you to keep looking there.
