Welcome to Wholesaling!!! I want to make sure that you are not confusing Business Registration with the GA Secretary of State vs. Business License with your local county or city office. All new business entity are required to register with the GA Secretary of State. You might need an Attorney to help you with the formation and filing of your business if a Corporation or LLC. In addition, your city or county office will require you to have obtain a Business License (aka Business License Tax Certificate) to operate your business, even if it's home-based. Also, depending on your business structure ( Corporations and LLC, LLP etc), you might need to obtain a Fed Tax ID # from the IRS. Again, a business attorney can help for a reasonable cost. Hope this was helpful.
