Northern Michigan Rental Property Owners Association (NMRPOA) is a chapter of the RPOA group in Grand Rapids. We are the only Real Estate meetup group in the area (to our knowledge) and very friendly. We would love to have you join us. Please RSVP to Melody if you can attend, so I can have a count on our total attendees. 

BTW, we meet monthly (on the 2nd Monday) with our schedule as follows. Our "odd month" meetings are held at noon and our "even month" meetings are held at 6pm.  We arrive 30 minutes prior to order the meal, but not this month.  Our meeting this month will feature a scheduled speaker, and usually followed by general discussion.  Anyone with a suggestion or question may contribute.

Highly recommend connecting on FB with Sam Flamont.  He gives a great synopsis of the TC area market.  Usually funny.   He also started a local group, which I have not met with yet.

Could you please clarify and or elaborate on what makes Michigan a disaster state?  Are you referencing Detroit/Flint?  Because northern Michigan is nothing like our southern portion of the states reputation...... But I feel like that is all people "know" about Michigan.
