I am finding the same to be true! I purchased my first self storage facility earlier this year and am actively pursuing my second facility.

@Matt Michaels I received a letter in the mail from a firm offering to represent me (I can’t remember the name of the firm off the top of my head). When I did a little digging on the firm, I found some less-than-stellar reviews. I saw good reviews online for Flaherty Fardo Rogel & Amick before deciding to hire them based on the recommendation I received.

@Matt Michaels I recently received a similar letter in the mail regarding a four-unit property I own. At the recommendation of a colleague, I hired Flaherty Fardo Roger & Amick to represent me at my appeal hearing. The hearing was just on Tuesday, so I do not have results, but the firm did the legwork of pulling together and presenting the necessary data.

@Frank Patalano I’m ready to scale my business but need capital. I’m just starting to round up friends and family with capital who want to invest but don’t have the time or knowledge. I understand this is a complicated process, but I’m excited for the challenge.

@Eddie LeGrand-Sawyer that makes sense. I see that you are a lender. Do you underwrite SBA Loans?

@Michael Wagner thanks for the information. That’s all very helpful and consistent with what I have found in my research. The biggest upsides for me in the SBA loan are the lower down payment and the longer amortization. This would enable me to have more money in my pocket to put into other investments.

Has anyone ever purchased a self storage facility using an SBA loan? If so, would you recommend it over a conventional commercial loan? I am looking into buying a self storage facility and am weighing my options for financing. Thanks!

Hi All, I am interested in learning the ins and outs of syndication and would love to connect with successful syndicators in the Pittsburgh area. I am a young investor hoping to eventually make real estate my full-time career and would welcome any opportunity to learn about syndication and add value to your current business/portfolio any way I can. Thanks! Matt

I am a young investor just starting out and looking to network. I just closed on my third deal (which is my first commercial property) about a month ago and am looking for my next deal. Over the weekend, I put together a website for my LLC, and I'd love to get some feedback. Thanks everyone, and I look forward to connecting!
