A family friend was telling me about his self storage investments, which got me thinking about the industry. think there are great opportunities to turn around underperforming facilities that can provide great cash flow. Also, it doesn’t hurt that there are no hot water tanks, furnaces, toilets, etc.

@Ryan Hazelwood I’m 27, and I started investing in real estate in 2014. My portfolio consists of:

2 single-family rentals.

1 commercial rental.

1 4-unit apartment building.

2 self-storage facilities.

I’m beginning to focus my investing on self-storage.
