Like a previous poster had stated I would remove your steps and regrade the slope of soil and just pave an additional parking or put a concrete slab there. Either way there’s ways to make this work around the “city’s sidewalk”. Just need to be creative! I say remove the steps because most likely no one even uses them and the new paved area will serve the same purpose as the steps now. I would tag but I’m on mobile. -Matt Moore

Michael Kantar I’m in the army kid, let me save you the time and effort. Join the Air Force. That way if you decide that you wanna do college then you’ll be able to go free of charge. On another note, if you wanna make Bookoo bucks as a kid I suggest starting up some for of a landscaping business and going at it hard! Stick to it and grow, grow, grow (or some other form of business that pretty much anyone can do) then as you turn 18 sell the company and voila! Now you’ll have all your savings from starting and running a successful company, experience managing workers, and you’ll be able to “sell your customers” to another company and make a decent amount from selling the business. But currently make sure to focus on school. A lot of people talk about how what they learned in school doesn’t translate to the “real world”. Well those people are the ones making min. Wage. If you’re not too such how to start on working into getting a business rolling feel free to send me a Colleague request and I’ll give you some tips and pointers. Albeit they may not be what you’ll want to hear about getting the ball rolling but it’s what works when starting a business. (I started a small scale landscaping business mowing when I was 7 for the neighbors [just mowing]). By the time I was 13 I had 15-20 yards I was taking care of each month(sometimes twice a month). That adds up for a kid 🤑 -Matt Moore

Since your from Florida I’m gonna assume that the property is as well. Being from Florida myself I know how lucrative Rv parks can be. Relative simple start up(as compared to home development) and you’ll never have to worry about missing out on a (season) you have summer and when you don’t have summer you’ll have snowbirds. Best of luck!

Joshua D. It’s your property and your decision! For the fact that you went with renting it out and you’re getting close to 500/m cash flow it’s obviously a pretty dang good deal! There will always be nay-sayers. It’s your chicken cook it the way you like 😁
I’ve read from a lot of post here on BP that if you use kilz primer that it even helps with smells up to cat urine

Growing up in the country I’ve not only heard of renting the land but also negotiating for a % of the profit from crops. That’s why I was asking.

Hey BP family! I'm back with some more questions, I’m have previously considered doing M2M room leasing however, being that I’m quite the outgoing individual that’s all about experiences. I’m currently trying to find all that I can about properly furnishing private room Airbnb. I’ve looked online but I haven’t really read about why are good setups for rooms(bed size, night stands, dressers, mirrors???) I live about 10-15 minutes south of downtown Colorado Springs in fountain. Rooms that I’ve researched go from 30-50 a night. Just curious as to what kind of setups do you guys use in private room for Airbnb. Oh another question is there any other websites like Airbnb to help with decreasing vacancies? Home is a tri level with room #1 being the master bedroom on the third floor and #2 being on the bottom floor. Not sure if that helps any but I’m in a creativity bind. Thanks BP family! -Matt Moore
