I moved to TX from CA. My daughter and her family did as well. I feel it’s more opportunity to gather your investments and put the cash from them together for other higher investment areas such as CA or Coastal Fl. Owner financing around in here in TX more so I’ve seen than CA.

Post: Renting out a lot for a mobile home

I purchased a few lots, they had homes on them at one time, so they have connections. I’m looking for advice on renting them out to individuals who purchase a mobile home and need a place to put it. My other option is to fence them in, and rent it out as equipment storage, of course I’m looking to keep what I have to put into it low. But if I do improve it I want to maximize my return. Thoughts and experiences? Thank you!

@Stefan Mayerschoff I had a slow leak from the faucet replacement. It was slow and increased when the shower was used the water ran along the shower underneath and cane out on the carpet on the other side of the bathroom. We thought it was the shower pan and was making plans to replace it, but we happened to check the faucet behind the wall and that’s what it was.., the contracter came out and tightened the fittings no charge . We even thought it might be the water heater due to it being close to the wet carpet spot..

@Jacob Payne Hi! How is your search going? I attended an auction yesterday where the house was totally gutted inside and the slab was all jackhammered. It looks like there was a leak of some kind. ARV was 70-80 and it sold for 3500.00!! I was very interested in the property but but the amount of work and where to get financing to fix it stopped me. How has your search gone so far? Is there a particular area you are interested in?

@Mindy Jensen Have you been here recently? Turlock is a "happenen" place! Lots of new retail, recent (last 15 years at least) home construction  and  overall great area!
