Post: Going to another "seminar" Renovate to Rent by Pathway Events

I attended the "Flip or Flop" presentation last year,  (of course Tarek and Christina weren't there). Met some people and got a few ideas!

Since I am  in the middle of a rehab to rent, I am going to attend the "Renovate to Rent" seminar in Merced next week.

I haven't seen the show before. I just think it would be interesting to see what they present and to see If I learn any thing new.

At the minimum I think it will be motivational. And they advertised free dinner!

I am leaving the checkbook/cards at home! I have learned so much from BP, that I just don't see the need to sign up!

I will definably share my experience!

Just a heads up to anyone looking in the area, at least 13 popped up in the last couple of days!

Example of one

Owner financing is a great start at least if it were me. Have they given you terms?

Do the figures include the tools to do the work as well? And any landscaping or outside work?

I also think you can find better pricing on your kitchen appliances...If you had to move money around that is where I would take it from.

We are looking to buy investment property in the area. The closer to the beach the better! We would use it as a vacation rental when we are not there. I hope to be in the area in the next few months to see what is out there and what kind of pricing.

I used to live there back in the early 90's when I was stationed at Eglin. Lots of great memories and feel so blessed to have experienced the beauty of the area! Cant wait to get back!

There is an individual on craigslist selling an 8 unit cottage type complex, owner financing in Modesto

http://modesto.craigslist.org/reo/5540636413.html

very nice individual. I spoke with him at length, Its more than what I am ready for at this point. I am still in the middle of a rehab in Texas. I don't want to get too much on my plate.

Just passing on what I found I hope someone can make a deal on it!

Can you install a long flip up shelf in the space between the wall and the countertop? It can be flipped down for extra space, and flipped up if not needed, or even a permanent one that doesn't flip.

I do understand the need for space...we have a similar vanity and it really is a hassle for two people to keep stuff on it...and forget if I want to use the hair dryer and get ready for stuff...I sometimes go into the livingroom and plug in there!
