Hi Everyone, want to introduce myself. My name is Dina, I live in the suburbs of Chicago. I have bought and sold several properties across Chicago and Barrington area over the past seven years, and was a real estate agent for 2 years in my early twenties. I am looking to dip my toes into rental property investment and find a suitable niche either in the Chicagoland area or Wisconsin (dells up to northwoods). @Alexander Davila I think they let you attend one for free but you'll want to double-check with them.

Yes, I'm an active investor as well as agent. I was an investor before I got my agent license.

Hey @Kevin McCauley, welcome to BP!

There's a ton of great info here, you're in the right place!

Regarding wholesaling, Illinois changed the law about 4 years ago which requires wholesalers, for the most part, to have an agent license. @Bob Floss II has a great video about this on his youtube channel, not sure if I can link it here but if you type in "illinois wholesaling floss" it will come right up.
