@Minuit Spence, congratulations on having the idea of getting started in RE.  From my understanding, I know with little money you can start out by wholesaling.  You can start by using direct mailers and identify motivated sellers to purchase their homes from them.

@Christopher Courter, congratulations.  I am sure there are benefits for fixing up this property.  I understand BiggerPockets has a list of lenders you can find within the "Resources" section.

Happy Saturday,

I am new to REI and will be taking the real estate license this month. My goal is continue to learn from many of you during my journey. After learning about the BRRRR method, I am excited to find my first property. In addition, I will incorporate flips. Currently, I reside in Baltimore, MD and will start flipping homes so I can start stock piling cash and fund my rentals. How did you all start out when you began flipping homes? What tools or methods did you use when vetting general contractors, etc?
