Bill I agree texting is a waste of time, it increases the odds of me getting carpal tunnel. My targeted market is real estate investors along with finding sellers in need of my services. My recreational time is face book, a free site.

Well I have had texting for a few days and no one has text me in regards to business. One good thing came of it, my fiance enjoys texting me, lol.

Thanks for the responds, I think that may be the issue. I have a property I am whole selling on craigslist. I just do not see why they would not just call, lol? I will get a small text messaging plan and I will see what happens. I will let everyone know what happens. Great idea, thanks.

Thanks Joshua, see I never thought their was a need either. I just do not understand why I am getting all these bogus text from people I do not know. So I assumed they may be from potential clients. I think I will save my money and not buy a plan.

Thanks for the responds Marc, see I agree. I keep getting text , but no messages of course. It does show the name of the person texting. This I do not understand because they are not in my phone book?

Hello everyone. Currently I do not have text because I felt there was no need. As of latley I keep receiving many text with no messages do to me not having a plan. I have several internet adds offering my services and a property I am whole selling. My question for my bigger pockets family is, do people do business often threw text messaging?

First, make sure the seller is on board. You could easily be chasing a deal waiting for the seller to do this and or that while time is eating away.

You can start marketing for a tenant buyer now if you want, no biggie. Obviously, you have to know how much he's behind and what exactly it's going to take to bring it current.

more importantly, is he upside down? If so, you don't wanna do anything other than short it to begin with.

Like Nick said, "make sure the client is on board", the guy was eager over the phone yesterday but i have not received a responds as of yet.

Nick you are one of my mentors!! I am proud to say that. I would have never posted this if I would have received your answer first, I was hoping to speak with my client early today (I figured you would not have gotten my message until today).This was posted before you had responded yesterday evening.
