I am moving to north Dallas to invest but I would also like to become a realtor. I have worked with my parents as a property manager in the past. I am great with numbers, motivated, and according to my friends a "social butterfly." Any advice or tips? Anyone willing to mentor a newbie?

Ok so I am looking to move to North Dallas in order to start buy and hold investing in Dallas. Does anyone have any tips? Solid realtor references, wholesaler references. Looking for a place to live in either rent or buy! Looking for SFH properties under 150k trying to maintain the 1% rule, and possibly wanting to experiment with Airbnb use properties. Tips, Advice, Suggestions?

Hey guys, I am looking for a motivated realtor that can work with an investor. I am looking for single family homes in the northern Dallas area. Looking for a 1% around 200k and below. Not in a flood zone. Is this still achievable in Dallas, Plano, Frisco, MCKinney areas? Don't mind fixer uppers as long as they maintain the 1 percent rule. Thanks

*also not all realtors are a fit for working with real estate investors if you don't want to waste your time testing someone out its best to get someone that is recommended or someone that is ready to work with an investor (and approaches the investor themselves).

@Brandon Battle I have been in contact with wholesalers who are having difficulty obtaining properties, and so far I have only been in contact with property managers and wholesalers in the area. I am also looking for recommendations on realtors on another post I just posted this just in case someone on here had a place for rent or a house for sale in the area I am looking at.

Looking for a place to buy or rent in a safe neighborhood in the Northern potion of San Antonio within the next few weeks. Trying to stay under 130k. If you have any leads or think someone might be able to help me find a place please send me a message or comment. Also tips about moving to San Antonio from California would be nice too! Thanks!!

Can anyone suggest a lawyer with a CPA background for LLC formation and structuring in Texas? (preferably San Antonio, Dallas, Fort Worth, Austin, or Houston area). Also if you have suggestions for whom not to work with please PM me.

I am not familiar with Texas as far as home structures. I am a Californian.I have been hearing a lot about foundations and having to water them? Does anyone have more information and experience with foundation issues in Texas? Also are there any other issues that are common in Texas?
