@Darren Sager  One on my units is a two unit multi family and the other is a condo  both in Jersey City. According to what everyone is saying it seems I don't have to  but I will hopefully be able to get in contact with someone tomorrow in the city to confirm this. Thanks for the input.

I was digging around on the Jersey City/NJ website for landlord tenant relationships. Does anyone know if I'm suppose to fill out this property registration statement? What re the pros and cons of filling out the Landlord identity registration form? I have a condo I rent out in downtown Jersey City and 2 unit multi family in the heights.

Hi,

I was wondering is it at all possible to refinance a condo I have in downtown Jersey City that is paid off but has very little owner occupancy? I talked to one banker who said no but I was curious if I should keep asking around. I was looking to use that money as cash on my next property.

Thanks,

Julie

Hi,

I have two investment properties in Jersey City and I currently rent in the West Village in NYC.

I'm thinking about living in my next multi family and investing in Brooklyn. I know BK will be a lot more money but I was hoping to get some advice on how to find some deals in BK and what neighborhoods would be good to look at? Since I will be living there I would want it in an area close to NYC but does anyone know of any areas that are still up and coming and not too far away? And at what price point will I be faced with in BK? Any general advice and information about multi family investing in BK would be very helpful.

Thanks!

Hi,

In Jersey City I was looking specifically around the light rail stop of Garfield Ave and MLK to invest but according to google that is Bergen/Lafayette but sometimes on the MLS it says Greenville. Is that area by the light rail a safe place to invest or not really? Where are the safe pockets?

Thanks,

Jules

Hi,

I'm looking to find a mentor in the real estate market. Preferably someone who has experience in Jersey City and or around NYC.

I all ready own a rental property in Jersey City that is fully paid off and is cash flowing nicely.

I'm looking to get into my second rental property and feel there is more I can learn from someone with more experience.

I would be willing to help out in exchange for advice/knowledge. If anyone knows of anyone please let me know.

Hi I already own a condo in jersey city that I'm currently renting out. It's been going great and I would love to do it again. I'm looking for a good real estate agent to help me get my second place that I would want as a buy and hold and put a renter in. Are most condo associates okay if I buy a place soley to rent out? I have some numbers but what are current rents going for a 1 and 2 bedroom? Looking for a good real estate agent to help me find a place in downtown jersey city near Hamilton park or grove street.
