@Parker Stiles Great suggestion. Yeah, we can work that in. 

In our group in Ohio we did something that worked awesome that I will recreate for this meet up. We had a private online group for only those who have attended the meet up in person. The online group ended up being extremely useful for sharing deals, contractor referrals, or just useful content. After strong relationships were formed at the in-person meet up the online group was active daily. This way wholesale deals can be shared as they come available rather than just once a month. 

If anyone else has suggestions let me know. Ultimately this group is made for one thing adding value to all those who attend so I want to make sure it does that the best it can.

Hey everyone, 

I hope the holidays are being good to everyone. We have a venue set! I walked through it today and it will be perfect for the meetup. Special thanks to @Alex Vela for giving having the resources and generosity to let us host in this great venue.  

The address is 2 Ravinia Drive, Suite 105, Atlanta, GA 30346.  right across from the perimeter mall We will be putting together parking instructions and posting them on this forum in the near future. Stay tuned.

I am looking forward to meeting you all! I have several great options for venues. One of the great options is thanks to @Alex Vela . If everything works out we will go with this venue because it will be an awesome space for this event.  Stay tuned Because after the holidays I will post the official address and details. 

If you know anyone else who may want to attend this Atlanta and surrounding meet up please tag them in this forum to let them know that finally there will be a place where all of North Ga Real estate investors and professionals can get together, learn, share and help each other grow their business without being sold anything.

Hey BP Community!

After being a two-time guest on the BP Podcast I have had quite a few people reach out to meet up, talk real estate, learn, share and help each other grow our businesses.

This got me thinking, What better to do all this for the betterment of everyone than to bring all these driven experienced and new real estate investors all together so all of us can meet, share, learn and grow together.

We have all been to the sales pitch heavy environments at the REIAs around. I am looking to build a quality alternative where no one is selling you anything. We would meet up exchange value, share stories and make friends all while holding each other accountable to our individual goals.

I am happy to coordinate this entire meet up. I have already started to put together a large list of interested people to join the group as well as inherit two other previously operating RE Meetup groups so we should have a solid crowd even on the first event.

Meet up will be held the last Tuesday of every month with the first one being January 31st

The Location is TBD but we will be shooting for the northern edge of I-285 to allow the maximum number of people access to the meetup. We have some great options I just have to determine which will fit us best.

@Damir Kamber I was completely unaware you had to be "plus" or "pro" member to respond to this thread. Thanks for letting me know. I haven't thought too much about food or beverage. Ill lock in the venue first and see what accommodations it has. The meet up I was part of in Ohio we would charge $5 and that would go to ordering pizza for the group.

Thanks for the location suggestion I am shooting for a spot on the northern edge of 285 allowing the maximum amount of people access to the venue so I think the cummings location will be a little to north for us, but good thoughts and I appreciate the suggestion.

I thought I had the perfect spot set up, but it recently fell through. Because I recently moved to the area to expand our company I don't have as many connections as I need to find a quality venue. This is why I am reaching out to all the local BP community for your help. 

I am looking for a room that will hold 30+ people on the last Tuesday of each month from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm (starting Jan 31st). Because I am adamant about the meet up not costing money to attendees I am looking for a venue that is also free. Although I am somewhat flexible on location I am looking for something accessible to the majority of people so the ideal location would be in the Kennesaw, Marietta or even the northern top of I-285. to allow the people north to come south and the people in ATL to come north. I am reaching out to you all to find an unused community room, large conference room, Church, school, Anything we could set up some chairs and hang out in. I am strongly avoiding restaurants unless it has a private room because of the noise level it makes it difficult to have a conversation in large groups at most restaurants. 

Is there anyone is the Kennesaw, Marrietta, Smyrna, Vinings, Mableton, Cobb County, Northern Atlanta areas have any connections or know someone who may have a great spot for us to get started in?
