I love the way people are so judgmental, stereotyping on BP.  That's a very general statement to assign to people that use craigslist.  Yes, that probably is a lot of people on craigslist, but it's not everybody.    Unfortunately, you can find the same in the paid sites because some of the scammers and con-artists make enough stealing money from others and conning people to be able to afford posting on the paid sites  to find more victims.

Kevin Chen I am a painting contractor so I can do it for you. Without cabinets included in that estimate, its way too high.

Kevin, how many bedrooms & bathrooms make up that 1950 sqft house?  Are the walls and ceilings to be painted the same color?  What's the linear footage of kitchen cabinetry to be painted?  If you'll answer those 3 questions I'll let you know if your quotes are in line.

Hey Brennen! I'm only a contractor but I've definitely seen a rise in the area just west of university park, in the 75220 area. I've seen numerous houses being purchased for under 100k, getting remodeled and then sold for over 200k. Really, so many areas of Dallas are experiencing that growth.

I have done it 3 times. I planned a route each time and knocked out as many as I could each day. Unfortunately, I ended up with nothing after making contact with at least 20 of the 30 or so attempts.

Welcome Luu! I'm in Dallas as well. The lady I have been doing contract work for over the past few weeks kept talking about Airbnb so I did some research and just recently discovered what it is. LOL She seems to be very successful with it. She has properties in the Kessler park area of north oak cliff. Well, best of luck to you! Joy
