@Joel Grullon Sean is correct on the many options we have in the area. The NH masterminds meeting in Nashua, NH is a laid back meet up for like minded REI's who just want network, talk real estate, have a few beers and have a good time. @Gal Peretz put this meet up together in the recent past and it has been a great success. Look forward to seeing you around!

Welcome Nate, BP is definitely the right place to be! Look forward to seeing you around the forums and potentially REIA meetings in NH or MA.

Josh

Considering an FHA loan for my first multi family.

Can anyone recommend any FHA approved lenders in southern NH or northern MA?

My goal is to purchase my first live in Multi-family in 2015. I hope to continue to purchase property during the next 5 years and build a big enough portfolio that I can leave my job 5 years down the road.

I agree, I would like to find opportunities off market. Just do not have the connections to do that yet, I am working on it!

I am new to BP and just getting started in REI.

Looking around to find a good Multi-Family to start with. I am looking for any suggestions on good websites or other sources to find properties. Most websites require you to sign up to view most of the details. Is it worth it to sign up for these websites? I constantly browse craigs list for the hell of it but do not expect to much to come from that.

Should I find a good broker to constantly send me opportunities? Continue my personal searching on the internet and other sources?

Any recommendations or advice is greatly appreciated.

I am looking to connect with a Multi-family real estate broker in Southern NH. Any suggestions or connections would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

@AlBigonia

Yes, my student loans interest rates are 5%. I was considering that option as well. Just pay my minimums and use the additional $ to invest.

I would like to know what others have for opinions on taking that route with student loan payments.

@Miguel Velez  I do a lot of work with Axis Construction Management in Philly and most parts PA. Very professional and knowledgeable. If interested the website link is below. Ask for Larry Contrisciano and let them know Josh Frahm referred you.

Hello everyone! I am brand new to BP and trying to get my REI career off the ground.

I have been educating myself on REI by reading books, listening and now I am part of BP. I am just out of college in the last few years with student debt of over 50K. I pay about $1000/ month, twice my minimum payment. I have a credit score over 730, pay all credit cards off in full each month and make a pretty good salary for mid twenties.

I am seeking some advice from fellow investors on best options to get started. I live in southern NH and as you may know this area is not the cheapest area to buy in. I am considering buying a multi-family to live in one unit and rent out the others. Any other recommendations to get started? I am a tad bit hesitant to take out a loan/mortgage to buy my first property with my student debt. Though, I do believe I have a very good handle on my personal finances and could manage.

Look forward all advice and comments.

Feel free to message me directly as well.

Thank you!
