New member from Worcester mass

Hello Bigger Pockets community, I am new too the site and from worcester mass.  I am a licensed CPA in the state of mass as well as a licensed real estate salesperson.  Currently I own one two family property in the lake ave/umass rental area.  My goal in real estate is to purchase more multi family properties renovate them and rent out these units.  Right now I am working on increasing my capital for my next purchase.  I hope to learn from the real estate knowledge presented one this site, and network within my area.

This is a great place to learn. Make sure to listen to all the BP podcasts, read the articles on the main blog and be active in these forums to learn a ton very quickly about any topic in real estate you want to know more about.

This is also a great place to meet people that can be assets to your business. Lots of great connections all over but we also have a very strong and active contingent here in MA on here so make sure to find them (Set up some keyword alerts to find out about local topics) and get connected.

Besides doing that on here make sure to get out to some of the many local investor events we have.  Being in Worcester first thing to check out is the Black Diamond meeting there (2nd location in Waltham).  Since your focus is buy and hold there are a couple landlord specific groups on Worcester County, I have not been to any but have only heard good things about the NWCLA in Fitchburg.  If you come out more east there are lots of options including that Waltham meeting and another one I like a lot the NEREIA in Chelmsford right off of 495 (This Wednesday).  Lot of other stuff both north and south of the city.
