Hello everyone! In recent years, I continually saw the need for someone to open up an investment property focused painting company. Working in the investment and real estate fields, I often struggled to find affordable painters that were reliable. I got so disgusted with this neverending search that I decided to start the company that I was looking for. My company, Oak & Acorn Painting specializes in painting rentals, flips, and investment properties. We're an affordable alternative to typical residential painters and a superior quality to what you would find in a handyman.

The idea that good paint isn't affordable is a thing of the past. We serve eight counties in Southwest PA that consist of Somerset, Westmoreland, Cambria, Indiana, Allegheny, Beaver, Fayette, and Armstrong. If you're not in our typical service area, we are willing to travel further than this depending on job size. Our targeted cities are Pittsburgh, Greensburg, Indiana, Altoona, Johnstown, and Somerset.

As an investor myself, I understand both sides of the transaction and I'm willing to work with my customers in any situation to provide a fair deal for both parties. I founded this business on the principle that I first need to establish trusted relationships with all my clients and the ability continually provide excellent value to all of YOU, for many years to come. The next time you're in the market for a painter please take a second to remember this post. You won't be disappointed! Estimates are always free and transparency is our policy.

I already posted this earlier, but I thought the app glitched and didn't post it. This is an accidental repost

I wasn't sure where to put this post so hopefully I'm not breaking any forum rules. Hello! I've recently moved back to my home state of PA from Denver. The general consensus that I'm seeing among the REI community is that there is a lack of reliable contractors in the industry who are investor friendly. I've been kicking around the idea of starting a painting company that primarily focuses on providing a solid service to landlords and investors. Being part of the BP and REI community, I feel as if this is not only a great opportunity to produce a secondary source of income and excellent networking possibilities for myself, but also an excellent opportunity for my fellow investors to have a go-to company that understands both sides of the equation. This isn't an advertisement or solicitation, it's just a general inquiry as to whether or not there would be interest. What do you guys think? Would this be of interest to you as an investor? Thanks for any opinions!
I'm considering opening a painting company in Western PA. I've heard so many stories from investors on here about how hard it is to find decent quality contractors that SHOW UP! This is not a solicitation or an advertisement. I was just curious to see if there would be interest from BP members if I decided to open up a painting business that offers above average quality painting on rentals, for an excellent price. I have several ideas in mind for providing affordable pricing, and this business will be used as more of a networking tool than anything(I already have a primary business.) What do you guys think? Interested? Good idea/Bad idea? Thanks! :)

@Kendell Johnson I was just confused. It's pretty common knowledge that almost 100% of wholesale deals are done off-market. My intention wasn't to offend you and if I did, I apologize.

@Kendell Johnson We aren't acting as buyer's agents as wholesalers. We make our money not from commissions, but from assignments. If the seller is paying commissions to a seller's agent then that means the property is most likely listed, which means that we're trying to assign a listed property? Do you have a real estate license?
