@Wayne Woodson

Could you message me a few of those title companies. Just moved to Murfreesboro and am looking for a good one in the metro area.

@James Mudd Thanks buddy. It's something I've been thinking about for a month or 2, just needed some reassurance from a seasoned investor. Appreciate it

@Steve Chaisson I'm very serious about getting this license and that would be fantastic if I could get that info. Thanks a ton. I'm actually fixing to head out to a real estate school called "TREES" not sure if you're familiar with them. They're located throughout TN & got an office right here in Murfreesboro. What an exciting time.

I read these forums almost daily. The education I've received here is amazing and the fact it's free makes it a Godsend. Anyways, my true passion is real estate investing. It's the only thing that interests me in terms of a career but having the necessary funds is a major obstacle for me. Wholesaling is something I studied for a few months but the legality of it just worries me. I just moved to the Nashville, TN area from Arkansas. In Arkansas I called several title companies and attorney's & they seemed dumbfounded when I mentioned the word wholesaling. I've read mixed reviews on here and getting in trouble with the law is not something I want to do, especially if it's being sued for thousands of dollars...something I cannot afford. Anyways, I'm really thinking about getting a real estate license for further education, making some contacts, getting my feet wet in the industry, & possibly get a real estate investing career going. Is this a good path for my situation? Or is this just wishful thinking that I can do those things with a real estate license?

Michael I just moved to the Murfreesboro area a few weeks ago. I moved here from Fort Smith, Arkansas and just driving around the city the opportunities look limitless here. Would love to grab some coffee or a beer and share some knowledge. There's a lot I can learn.

I know you've read it on here before but this forum literally has any info you need. I spent 6 months studying different guru's and I was always left with questions. Not here.

@Diamond, I'm getting charged $225 an hr for my attorney to review my contract. She said in some cases it may be cheaper for her to prepare her own. Mine are short, so hopefully she wont charge me for an 8 hr day.

Thanks for that info. I called the WACO here in Fort Smith, they said
"we're not in that business." I found Western Arkansas Title Services and they have done some assignment contract deals, not many but a few. I'm just glad I found a company that knows what I'm talking about. Gonna go with them if I get a deal under contract. Again, thanks for that info.
