Canada is the #2 place Americans are moving outta US yearly to by the millions, surpassed so far still only by those moving to Mexico

(despite the opposite flow of migrants evenmoreso)

isn't Canada bigger than USA and you get more land/house for your dollar than those of us here in US? so u've got lots of potential to afford ur first home than a US person!

while was in grad school learned renting out spare room(s) to other students was the only option, cuz renting to general public generally brought lots of noise, partying, crying kids, family visiting for weeks months on end, parking crowding, etc.

whereas college/grad kids usually come with a guarantee from parent(s) or even scholarship stipend plus do have to study alot depending on the major. even if ur not living in the building generally students studying for exams is great energy whereas couples fighting with babies in the background is the opposite and affected my studies and my sleep!

upstate NY homes can still be like under 100K for a decent home on quarter or even half acre or more! at least thats my experience with jefferson-stamford area..
newb would generally buy only cosmetic fixers.. as materials are ridiculously expensive at HD/Lowes in recent years.
never heard of the open ended term for mortgages what is that?

had similar issue where i minus the suspected 'extra' room upstairs' square footage from total taped and then i got the sf from tax roll!

been told generally if cant find a permit for the change nor old blueprints/plans confirming it did change, it gets called nonconforming but ask a planning dept!

Since u have all that interest and property tax in addition to hopefully also paying down the principal, then there's the carrying costs (insurance, utilities, gardener, maintenance) IF you're still gonna keep it not just make it look real nice and sell it for top dollar, then yea airBnB or similar  (ie, travelling nurse rooms) where u get more monthly than just traditional lease.

MAIN reason seems to be COST OF LIVING vs income, followed by families fleeing the psy ops & urban crime outbreak!

Is there is sidewalk violation/condition for your poperty on file? It helps alittle if there isn't, hurts alot if there already was.

Has your/any attorney suggested you sell at least one of the properties then at court find out why their insurance didnt pay (Every American is required to have Health Insurance aren't they)?

Wouldn't it be worse if they were actually ON your property? I've heard of closed properties/businesses being sued; sometimes the plaintiff was tresspassing!
