@John Underwood I wasn't calling it an Airbnb rental to not call it STR or because I'm a millennial. My principal broker uses Airbnb so that's the method I want to go. He owns 6 units brining in 8k-12k a month here in Portland and I want to look elsewhere.

Hey BP, I’m new to investing and I thought I’d look into investing in Airbnb rentals. I live in Portland and I’m a realtor and the market is just way to expensive out here.
I was thinking about Florida or AZ. Anyone have any great location tips? Looking for something furnished between $250,000 to $385,000

Hello, I’m Jonathan Vese. I’m a Newly Licensed OR Real Estate Broker. I’ve always wanted to get into rehabbing and flips, but lack the knowledge. I got my license to help me find deals and broker them myself. Anyone out there willing to meet up and share their knowledge with me? Thanks

just like the subject says, I'm at a point where I can spend $500 a month into real estate investing. Where would you all spend it. Would love the feedback.

John Anderson I'm not talking about gurus. I'm talking about investors that I've met.

So I want to purchase a property. ARV after 50k rehab is around 400k Seller wanted 220k and I jumped on it. Long behold a lien popped up with Citibank for 137k. He also has an existing mortgage of 124k. I've talked to other investors and they have told me there's a way to get a lien completely released or at least a huge chunk of it. If there is how do I do that? Thanks

@Greg Polyakov, awesome. I'll be out of town for the next two weeks as well so as soon as I'm back we can schedule something.

His motivation was that he bought the house for his mother and now she has Alzheimer's and can't be on her own so they need to sell the house quick. With my 220k offer he was pocketing about 80k himself but he wanted to pocket 100k.

@Account Closed I suggest you stay off bigger pockets if you can help people out. I know about creative financing. Ive just never done a deal with it and needed some help. So if you're gonna be negative I suggest you stop posting on here.
