Is there someone experienced with assignment contracts that might be able to help me out with some of the technicalities in the way you structure the contract. (I am not asking for legal help - I have an attorney for that - just your experience).

If you're credible, I am happy to compensate you a reasonable amount for the time we speak/email.

Please PM me. Thanks in advance.

Post: Excellent App: Boomerang for Gmail

(FYI: I have NO affiliation, or equity for this app. It has just been very helpful as a set and forget tool, so I thought I would share.)

I know I am late to the game with the Boomerang app, since it's been around for a while., but I'll share it with the other tech-dinosaurs like myself. Boomerang is a "set-it and forget-it" app, and there are two key functions that I have been using every day in the past month:

  • 1) Schedules emails for a later date. So if you are trying to follow-up with a motivated seller, tenant, attorney, RE agent, or anyone that might need several reminders Boomerang will schedule future emails for you, and you can have it only send a reply if you haven't received one back for the person you are trying to communicate with. I also like to send emails early in the morning (between 7am - 9am) so it ends up at the top of someone's inbox when many people check emails and I believe is a higher response rate (of course not Tim Ferris').
  • 2) It takes the email out of your inbox and sends it back to you at a later date of your choice. I like my inbox pretty lien, so I will "boomerang" back an email if it's not relevant at the moment. So for example if you received an email from someone to do something (worker, tenant, spouse, etc.) and you are busy at the moment, and you might forget about it later, you can boomerang it back to you later that evening, next day/month, etc.

One of the cons is that you have a limit on the Boomerangs" per month - I believe it's ten but you can get more by tweeting a shout out. The personal plan is $5/month, I haven't bought the bullet yet, but probably will soon. I won't post any links here, but there is a YouTube video that describes it well which you can find pretty quickly.

Hope this is helpful.

Connecticut investors you got to come to the 6th FREE (money-free, sales-free, pitch-free) real estate meet-up at Anna Liffey's in Fairfield.

The meet-up is from 7pm - 9pm, and around 7:45pm everyone will briefly introduce themselves to the group, and I would strongly recommend you make it for then. It's casual so dress however you feel most comfortable. Please just buy at least one drink (non-alcoholic is fine) from the bar to support Anna Liffey's for allowing us to use their space.

We have had buy-and-hold investors, rehabbers, wholesalers, agents, commercial brokers, lenders, syndicators, a BP podcast guest, attorneys, and other service professionals from all over the state of Connecticut.

[HELPFUL PARKING TIP: Anna Liffey's is located @ 1494 Post Road, Fairfield CT 06824 (http://annaliffeys.com/), and the back room is reserved for us. FYI: ANNA LIFFEY'S IS ACROSS THE STREET FROM VICTORIA'S SECRET, AND THERE IS A FREE PUBLIC PARKING LOT ACROSS THE STREET AFTER 7PM.]

Also, if you're from any of these areas or know someone that is that might benefit from the meet-up, please invite them: Fairfield, New Haven, Hartford, Middlesex, New London, Stamford, Greenwich, Darien, Norwalk, Westport, Bridgeport, Stratford, Trumbull, Wilton, Weston, New Canaan, Easton, Milford, Shelton, Ansonia, Orange, West Haven, East Haven, Branford, Hamden, Naugatuck, Wallingford, Middletown, Cheshire, Woodbridge, Danbury, Newtown, Oxford, Southbury, Middlebury, Waterbury, New Britain, Bristol, Meriden, Southington, Newington, Madison, New London, Killingworth, Seymour, Plainville, Bethel, Redding, Guilford. There's no doubt that I missed more cities, so please let your colleagues know to come.
