Ok thank you, I will do. It’s just the approval from the va that I would need. I will work on it.
Caleb Heimsoth could you give me a list of lenders? I have contacted va benefits and talked to a very unhelpful rep who said I’d need 12 months left or a letter of intent to re-enlist. Navy fed said they could help as long as I could get the va approval
Caleb Heimsoth so I am infantry, so not much correlation to any civilian job haha I have 2 jobs/mentorship as a roofing salesman as soon as I get out. I don’t see much of a similarity there. If you do I would love to hear it. I am perfectly fine passing on this opportunity and finding another in a year. If I can make it happen it would help the transition. 1. Place of living 2. Paid for by renter(if I can get someone in the other unit fast, which I will be able too).
Roger Steciak I am fine getting turned down for a loan. I was planning on just renting till I have enough work history to buy property anyway. This opportunity came recently and I’m looking for the best way to go about obtaining it now because it will not last long. I’m asking if anyone has had experience in dealing with this, similar experience, or any creative ways of financing it. I’m not worried about getting denied or failing but I’d rather have the right direction to go. Trying to find out answers is not a bad decision. It helps an individual learn from other people’s mistakes.
I’m not sure they would approve it if I was no longer going to be in the army??

I am in the military and soon I will be leaving. I have an offer from a family member to buy one of three of their duplexes when we move back to Tulsa, OK. The properties need exterior work. really good location for us.

The financing is the only issue. I will just be starting a new job and wouldn't have "work history" to back up to get a loan.
What would be an option for financing.
would the banks be willing to lend.
what would you do in the situation.

Hi BP, I am currently located in Colorado Springs. I am active military and do have a crazy schedule. During my free time I would love to assist someone in their remodeling or handyman work. I do not have any experience other than the odd job. I am wanting to learn all the ins and outs of home building and repair. I’ll help with anything from plumbing, flooring, insulation, drywall, etc. I just want to learn everything you can offer. I am more than physically capable of carrying heavy things, working hard, and putting some time and effort into your investment. Send me a message and I would love to help you out on Saturdays and sometimes during the week after my day job. If I get an off day, I will let you know so I can assist you on that day. Thank you BP family!

Rob drum I am very open to that! That’s why am here. I will assist anyone who is looking for a hand. Building a porch? I’m in! Laying tile? I’m in! Anything? I’m up for it. I need the experience. Thank you.
