@Joshua Ofair  welcome to bp and the real estate world. Have you been to any of the upstate Creia meetings? There’s some great people in the group. A lot come from Spartanburg area. I think the next one is dec 17 (mon night). I plan on going, so if u want to meet up and go we can. If you have any questions just send me a message. Good luck.

@Chris Marston. Welcome to BP. It’s a great community. One of the work arounds might have been including the reno numbers on the hud. Im still on the newer side of investing but I believe it was on one of the bp podcast where a guest talked about adding it to the hud. That way you could refi in less then 6 months. I’ve listened to it recently so I’ll see if I can find it. On the couple of brrrrs I’ve done it has taken 6 months to Reno and find a quality renter so it hasn’t been an issue.

@Aaron Kohl welcome to BP. I too would recommend chads school. I’m trying to finish it up now also. I invest in the upstate of sc so if you need anything let me know. I could probably make some time to swing by a property and look it over for you. Good luck and can’t wait to hear about ur 1st property.

@Katie P. Sounds good to me. Or even if the would make a list of ones they used and learned from. So we can decide if they were a good match for us.

@Julia Fair When y’all get ready to buy your place in Atlanta see if you can get a duplex, Tri or quad. That will give y’all a place to live and an investment. Just a thought

@Kerry Baird thank you @Amanda Fabian. I’ve talked to lima financial a good bit. I was close to doing a deal with them and my contact got Promoted and I got reassigned to someone else. The 2nd lady was wouldn’t even return my emails. I’ve started resourcing fundand grow. If someone can’t return and email I doubt they could close a deal. They have reps that come to our Creia meeting that I want to talk to. I’m just wanting a company that I can do a few good deal with. Is that too much to ask for?? Good luck to y’all.

Yes I’ve flipped a few in piedmont, just finished up a rental in Williamston and looking for what’s next. I like to stay within 30 mins from home but know I need to branch out.

Congrats. I’ve heard Columbia is a good market. I would like to find some properties down there close to campus, just have moved to that stage yet. Nervous about rentals a hour away.

@Karen Hoss  sounds like you have a lot of good stuff going on. There’s a pretty good reia group that meets in Greenville at the embassy suites. We just had the monthly meeting this past Monday. Google upstate Creia and you will find the info. Have a lot of smaller meetings that are good also. What area are your properties in? I live in the piedmont area but invest anywhere from Anderson to Spartanburg. Let me know if there’s anything I can help with.
