How To Spot A RE Guru

In the world of business and entrepreneurship, we've all heard it.....

don't listen to those gurus. Beware of the guru. That guru is a crook!

My question is:  how do you spot a real estate guru?

I'm not sure what qualifications a person would meet to be dubbed a "real estate guru."

My guess.......whatever it is, folks are definitely giving it the side-eye.

Please share your thoughts.

How do YOU spot a real estate guru?

They speak fast and very smooth. Almost can say: the better they speak, the more of a guru they are.

They play on your dreams and make an appeal to your emotions and desires. They speak in general terms, but light on specifics and actionable intel.

They promise fast riches, available to anyone, no special skills required, but only if you buy into his sales ladder. And you'll be "privileged" when allowed to do so, as they are such a busy and overwhelmed teacher. This "rare opportunity" will be available to you only that day, but if you'll do it, he will double the... and add at least two bonuses for "free"... Plus, wait, there is more...for the low price of...you'll get "this amazing opportunity/chance/package".

Find a mentor, not a guru.
