So with assigning a contract, do you still need to put money up as you would in a double close or no? Not to take over your post/question but I have had the same questions as you.

Roy Lin I'm not exactly sure how to do that. It's not letting me, but that sounds awesome! Mark Nolan Thanks Mark! I appreciate it!

Mark Poulton I have my contracts already. I will send them to you through PM if it will allow and see what you think? I had gotten them from the Sean Terry website. I will definitely be in touch with you if I find a property! I may have one already that you might like! I just don't know right off because it was completely gutted! He said it could be a duplex or triplex! Jose Flores Thanks for the information Jose! As I said above, I already have my contracts and stuff like that and can send them to you through PM if you would like.

I am a beginner looking to start wholesaling in the Charlotte area of NC. I have the basic concept down of how to do everything but I am still a iffy about what I need to do. I have little to no money to put into wholesaling. Meaning, I have money to buy yellow cards and/or bandit signs and possibly some to buy lists of sellers.. I have no idea who to use for the contracts, such as an attorney or anything like that. In all, I guess I have no clue what I'm doing. Can anyone recommend something to read on the forums that would help me out? I've been searching, reading, and listening to podcasts and I've heard the same thing every time. It just doesn't really explain much.

@John Mathewson

Would you call and make an appointment or just find someone and go there?

I probably need to read a little more. I want to find a reliable closing attorney before I even begin to look for properties.

@John Mathewson Okay. I think NC uses closing attorneys rather than title companies? I'm not sure. I'm extremely new to this. Sean Terry talked about double escrows/closing and using the buyers money for all of tha, so that's what I planned on doing?
