Good afternoon BP folk! Happy Friday Eve!

I'm looking for options on where to spread the word on a crowdfunding campaign that we have running. My team and I are working on a tiny home community project and are looking for good places to talk it up. Any suggestions?

@John Paul Schreiner - I'm not sure about Ft. Worth proper, but I do know that Texas is largely tiny friendly. Having a chat with a planner in your respective district would add a little prospective.

@John Paul Schreiner - Being a tiny homeowner, that I've built myself and in the development scene for tiny home communities, I've learned a fair amount. The biggest thing is the lack of information about tiny homes. Most cities and counties just don't know how to deal with them.
Where are you located?

@John Paul Schreiner - Have you considered converting it to tiny homes instead of mobile homes or RVs?

@Jenifer Levini - Thank you for your post! "That's why visionaries are visionary!" I've built my own tiny home and have been to MANY, many expos for tiny homes. They are quite amazing! By and large most tiny home people want to just place their home and live. BUT... should the need arise, you can hook it up and move on as needed. Because life never changes right?
My team and I are working on a community here on Colorado's Front Range. Let's connect!

@Jeffrey Cline - My team and I are working on this very concept on Colorado's Front Range as we speak! I built my own tiny home on wheels, come to find out you cant just put them anywhere. So, I started my company to help fix that.

@Michael Kiley - I've personally met Zach Giffin from Tiny House Nation on several occasions!

@Joshua Stewart - I know Alexis and Christian who produced "Living Tiny Legally".

The tiny home industry has moved from being a "movement" to a full-fledged industry over the last few years and places like Technavio are predicting it to become a $5.8B industry over the next 4+ years or so. We'd better get on it! ;)

It's so interesting to me that so many of these threads are years and years old.

The tiny home industry has been growing so much over the last few years. So much so that places like Technavio are reporting that it's expected to grow to be a $5.8B industry over the next 4+ years or so.

Zoning and planning is the main hurdle. So, my team and I are working on addressing that very issue here in Colorado and eventually the nation.

We're hitting it hard!

I've built my own tiny home, but run into the same problem most, if not all, tiny home owners. Zoning/planning issues. I do not believe tiny homes are a fad, as it's becoming a true industry. I launched my company to help with the zoning problems and we're working on putting together our first community!

It's all relative, in terms of cost. Yes, a tiny home costs more per square foot, but overall, a $75,000 (on average) tiny home vs. a $450,000 regular home here in Denver is way more attainable. The different being, a regular home comes with the land, where tiny homes do not.

@Griffin Schermer - Thank you for the reply! You're renovating it sounds like, which means all of your infrastructure is largely in place. I'm trying to find information on new installation of ground work, concrete, etc. The project we're working on will be brand new.

Good morning BiggerPockets!

I'm looking to see if anyone has recent development costs for developing a mobile home park. I've read and dug around and come across the number of $15,000 - 20,000 per pad, but it feels like that data is out dated. I also understand that not many jurisdictions are allowing the construction of new mobile home parks.

What has been y'alls experience?
