@Becky Leal if I start in an office is it possible to switch to home whenever I'm comfortable? Or it's just depends on the broker ?

@Fred Heller I just worded it wrong. Didn't mean an independent broker, I know the requirements for that.

I was saying a agent who works from home instead of the office.

@Ryan Dossey okay thanks and that's interesting. So if you don't mind how would business work if I were to let an investor hold my licenses?

@Ryan Dossey I'm leaning towards the investment side.

And not a broker, just an agent who works from home and not at the office.  Which would be best for just starting out?

I'm getting closer and closer to getting my Real Estates license. I just want to know from experience which would be better for someone just starting out, being an Independent agent or at a brokers office???

I also am a college student so I'm looking for something to fit my schedule.

Thanks!

If a buyer gives you an earnest money check, how do you know if the check is valid? of if they actually have the money in their account?

When working with another investor, How do you go about as far agreeing on the split? Is contracts needed for this?

Let's say if I bring a potential deal to an investor to sell, would I need a contract or how should I go about this?
