When working with another investor, How do you go about as far agreeing on the split? Is contracts needed for this?

Let's say if I bring a potential deal to an investor to sell, would I need a contract or how should I go about this?

Just what Chris Boyd said. I just closed a deal last week with another wholesaler. We split the profit 50-50. I found the deal and he brought the buyer to the table.
