I don't know exactly how their business plan works, but my brother in law owns and operates a big rental finder company here in Jacksonville. I know it is free for the tenant, and they charge the owner a months rent.

My girlfriend is a licensed real estate agent (dealing only in rentals) and is dead set against wholesaling. She keeps telling me that it is illegal, that you can only do it if you are a licensed agent. How can I show her that it is legal? I am all ready to get started here in Jacksonville, FL but can't if I don't have her support. Any advice?

How can I prove to my fiancé ( who is a licensed real estate agent, but specializes in rentals) that wholesaling (without a license) is not illegal? She believes that the amount left at the end is a commission and therefore I must be licensed. How do I straighten this out? I really want to get into real estate but it will not happen without her support.

Anyone have a good tips or strategies for wholesaling with very little free time? My girlfriend is a rentals real estate agent and is super busy during the summer time, so I watch our kids from when I get home from work to when it is time for bed. I really want to get started but can't find the time to begin. Any help?
