hi,

Is there any logic whether to buy 2 properties for $90k with rental of $700 each vs buying a single property of $170k with rental of $1200. I generally go with 30 year fixed and 20% down. Generally speaking closing cost is high in both. Area/ crime rate etc is similar.

Hi Fellow investors,

We are exploring areas to invest in Austin Texas for appreciation. We are new out of state investors.

Which areas you have cash flow break even? Which areas you will expect hyper appreciation and which areas for cash flow positive?

Looking forward to your responses.

Jay

@Vicky Liu

I didn’t even go through with the deal because their initial conversation was very flaky. I skipped the property since having good property manager is a high priority criteria when going forward with property. I am also out of state.

My 2 cents would be to avoid them if you are expecting prompt followup and communication.
