Older houses were often built better than they are now, but foundation is your main concern. Even if it looks pretty on the outside, you want to make sure you combo over the house and do sewer inspections and oil tank sweeps, check septic, etc. so that you've covered all the bases. Electric (knob and tube) is a big concern in old houses as well, so if turnkey you are just vetting the renovation and seeing where they cut corners.
