So say I buy a property from a seller and he agrees to carry. He owns the property free and clear, is it possible that I can then in turn get it section 8 approved and rent it out through the HUD system?

no script that I can offer but I'd like to add, try to find out what motivates the seller to sell. Whether it's to pay debt, getting married, etc. then use that to your advantage
