What would make this transfer an issue? Would they need to pay a "tax" of some sort to make this transfer legitimate?

Hi All-

I was at the IMN SFR conference a few weeks ago, and a common pain point of private equity firms was the extreme cost to transmit money into the United States. High transfer fee's, high exchange rates, ect.

As an ex-investor in Bitcoin, this “currency” seems like a viable vehicle to make international transfers, in any amount, quick and extremely cheap. As long as the documentation is in place, I don’t see anything wrong with this type of transmission of currency into the US?

For those who are unaware- You can buy bitcoin through regulated platforms such as bitstamp.net. Link your European bank account, and make a bitcoin purchase. Link your US bank account, and simply withdraw the funds in USD, into your US based account.

Besides this being a new concept, am I missing anything here?

@Phillip Dwyer If I would guess, this is bait to get "cash buyers" to input their information so Justin can grow his "cash buyers list".

Post: Scottsdale/Phoenix Folks want to Grab Coffee?

Hi BP Fam,

I've put my head down the last month working on a company re-org, and haven't gotten out to network with new people.

Anyone in the Scottsdale/Phoenix area want to grab coffee and see how we can provide value to each other?

Quick about me:

1. Run a local and virtual wholesale company with 7 employee's.

2. Fix/flip both local and virtually

3. Just closed 60 SFRs in Phoenix 2 weeks ago.

Looking to network with institutional buyers, people who have experience raising capital, 50+ Unit Multifamily buyers.

Give me a holler!

HI All,

Has anyone had luck refinancing their Cleveland portfolio into a portfolio loan at a decent interest rate? I know Colony American Capital does, but my friend said its been the biggest pain in the ***.

These would be B Neighborhood areas.

Want to hear thoughts.

We're running an extensive marketing campaign in B neighborhoods in Omaha. We need an experienced acquisition person local to the area who can go on seller appointments for the duration of the campaign.

Person would be responsible for managing CRM, scheduling appointments, building rapport & negotiating with sellers, getting contracts.
