Hello Thomas, there are a number of PM companies in the area that you can look up. Shawna Byers at Hayes Property Management is one, Meghan McDonald at Lawrence Realty is another. These two are active in the Stark County REIA, plus there are others that are not affiliated. Hello from a fellow Canton investor as well!  I believe there is still a Wednesday dinner meetup, but don't hear much of it anymore.  We still have the weekly Wednesday breakfast at The Athens, plus there's other meetups throughout the month.  There's a number of different FB groups for Stark County Investors, plus there's the Stark County SCREIA meetings regularly.  As investors it's important to network with us to be aware of the activities of the local jurisdictions.  Come on out!  Google SCREIA or message me for the website to find out all the event details.

Take a look at the 'Find Deals' on the menu at the top of the page and then the pull down menu of 'Real Estate Listings'.  You can filter down to the city and state of your choice to find many deals that will fit your parameters.  

We buy/sell/rehab/hold in the Akron/Canton/Massillon areas and cash flow has always been steady and healthy here.  Appreciation has been low in these areas up until the last couple years; now we're seeing it pick up.  These have been solid areas for many years and are only improving!   

Based on what you've said, it sounds like they're just avoiding it.  You have to determine if it's due to their inaction or not and go from there.  You said they missed it during the transition, if that's the case why do you have to eat it?  

If it's the PM's cause, then hold them accountable.  Have them figure out a plan and present a solution for you to approve.  This is how PM's cost you profits.
