I was actually wondering lately if Obama thought "financial advisors" are people who give financial advice, not commission sales people who work for banks? I thought it was momentarily funny lol.

one thing is for certain, Obama is an uber-control freak.

maybe both/option?

a place to start with site tour would be good. might be an idea to emphasize please read the rules as they are different from many other sites and the internet is changing. it is a shock to most creative types, the rules sites come with these days (no kidding), esp for those who have been on the net since the beginning and seen drastic swings and changes in regards to rules and etiquette. one minute everyone is stealing mp3s and not paying artists, and now you can't post anywhere twice or you get deleted (many sites now). very difficult to navigate.

most problems have reasonably simple answers if you can see the problem clearly enough.

(that said I don't think I'm the one to sort out the Fed thing since I'm Canadian and not really educated on it.)

there is also a thread on here somewhere how to deal with what to do if it all hits the fan lol. agriculture and guns etc. educating ourselves means we'll be organized and prepared for anything good or bad.

great thread. I love reading stuff that challenges my thinking.

DC I like what you said and that is what keeps pushing me, I will never have it all together but that will never stop me from doing what I can do today.

Karen, we don't have it all figured out here but we each have a piece of the puzzle and perspective and we're helping each other get there.

If you don't have a clear vision how you want to use your gifts directly for greater impact, spend some alone time thinking it through and getting to the heart of the matter and dream, because you never know where it could lead. It's taken me many years for some of my projects to near fruition and others are done same day. Also researching how other people have succeeded (in other fields as needed esp if you're going somewhere new), sometimes radio or books or internet are excellent methods of communication and getting to the heart of the matter of what you want to say and getting it out there in the most effective means possible may be easier than you think. you can't be responsible for how many people listen and respond to your influence only for what you do and say, and sometimes it takes awhile for your words to sink in and people respond many days later and you may never hear about it. if they don't, move on. there are 6 billion people on this planet, 300 million in USA, finding where you fit and what you want to do is a study in itself :) but you start today and go from there. and if you're making any impact at all, don't give up, keep moving forward, and find how you can work with that to make it better.

for example it is probably more effective for me to come here and talk about buying up real estate (and I also have a website about agriculture) than it is to try to change Obama lol. he only won by 54% I think and he has angered a great number of people who voted for him, he shouldn't count on much success and support or future popularity at that rate. in the meantime, let's boost the economy ourselves lol.

Karen I like to use the arts to get my message across because it's very difficult to disagree with them. you can't disagree with a photograph of the sky or a song about how you feel. very influential. I incorporate gut-wrenching truth and beauty in the same works. lol :)

what I think is that people have strayed from an understanding of a standard of integrity, and corruption has crept into leadership and people's lives, slowly and surely, much thanks at least in part to the influence and agenda of the media and hollywood. so I hope to set a clear standard that people can see so they can recognize the difference between truth and lies, and integrity and corruption. tall order. esp considering the extent of the media influence I'm competing against. but I do hold my ground in my circles of influence and people do notice.

Karen enjoyed your comments again.

I actively saw the Hollywood machine used to promote Mr. O, with British DJs sending all their fans in the USA to vote for him. I can play that game too, if I had only known to start earlier. I hope to educate some of these fans in some of the more important points in life, guess I got my work cut out for me lol.

great comments.

I do think Obama has issues tho, spending, gun control, immigration, education/healthcare/service... some are economy related (debt) while others are political etc. so there are technically a number of issues facing USA right now.

brilliant when you think about it, Obama promising everyone prosperity, gets crowds going, and that was never his intention anyway was it. maybe a few little tokens to make people think so? obviously tho people want solutions on the economy and who knows what we're really going to get... typical liberal, meant prosperity for him not for everyone, share the wealth with himself? and the rich get richer, in this case the banks... blathering on. we had a liberal government before in Canada, they were terrible at leadership, and we voted them out and trying to keep them out.

I also pray and believe in the power of faith and action.

I believe a unified people can overcome just about anything. we have to be unified for the right causes. ie not communism. truth and freedom and real solutions.

not everyone will come with us but a good 50% most likely will. that is my expectations as an artist. I usually get much better results than I expect.

I do not back down or give up when it's important, ever, unless I really have no other choice. I just make sure I choose my battles carefully. if some methods do not work, I use others. :)
