I don't think the average American really understands what a terrorist is.

I don't think most people even know why we are at war.

I find this disturbing. People are more likely to believe underground rumours from the internet (intentionally from the enemy, and supported by our own people) because they have never looked into what is going on over there, what the missions are, and who the enemy is. People have vague notions that make no sense and no wonder they don't get it.

I fight every day for everything I believe in. not with guns.

my best friend here at home is in the military. no doubt I would join them if anyone threatened our soil or freedom.

just for the record. if it seems that the media and Hollywood is overwhelmingly Liberal, it was planned that way. for the most part if you want a job in that industry you have to push the Liberal agenda and walk and talk it outwardly even if you disagree with it. the reason for this is because of the political agendas of those who own the big companies in the industry and the puppets they choose to hire.

the good news is that most of these big and expensive companies are going out of business due to the internet. due to cheaper technology, entertainment and media is a free for all. if you want to start the next CNN or myspace or anything you can dream of... HAVE AT IT... IT'S ALL YOURS FOR THE TAKING... it's cheap to start a media empire now, a computer and internet connection, and maybe a basic recording studio or film studio, don't let anyone hold you back.

independence rules in the age of the internet, and anyone not independent can be put out of business by those who are.

let's make the Liberal slant a thing of the past.

this imo is why people don't think they have anything to fight for:

1. take for granted what we have. never experienced what it's like to be without. if they did, they would be willing to fight.

2. brainwashed by Liberal media. ignorant of the real underlying issues and agendas.

most Americans have never been outside America, and for that matter their small towns, where they work, live, sleep and watch TV.

It's amazing what one person can do to change a situation if they focus on it. That applies to just about anything in the world. You just have to choose your problem to focus on and choose your best solution(s) and work on it.

I have come to the conclusion that the internet is powerful, and even CNN could be replaced if one single entrepreneur had the drive to do it. All it takes is a bit of technical knowledge and a bit of marketing knowledge to understand how to visualize such a project, and not that much overhead to really make it happen.

Read "Economics in One Lesson" book. You'll see through all of Obama's BS. You don't fix an economy by getting into more debt and spending. Try fixing your own finances that way. And tell your wife it's good for your bottom line. Hopefully she's not that dumb either.

one more point. Chinese families save about 40% of what they earn. should we save more? if that sounds unrealistic we can do that through investing to make up the difference. in cash producing assets.

here's an idea *evil grin* why not create credit for other countries and sell them things they don't need at high retail prices that will decline in value, then they will have to pay interest (after qualifying the customers of course). and also buy high profit investments worldwide (mainly cash producing ones that increase in value), particularly businesses with low overhead and start-up/acquisition costs. might it tip the scales more in our favour if we stopped being the ones spending and started being the ones investing, as a country? lol

one more note - when the US dollar is down it is good for exports. what that means is, for example, the Canadians will come to USA and buy as much as we can because our dollar will go a little farther and we can buy more. because currencies fluctuate... it affects prices in other currencies... we buy more US stuff when it's cheaper and less when it's more expensive, even though the prices may not have changed, the currencies have fluctuated against each other making it cheaper or more expensive for us. a good balance is best.
