Uh yeah...like Bush and the rest of his crew didn't do this 100x more with 9/11...let me take away your privacy, let me take away your Constitutional rights...all in the name of "protecting you"...

Yup, because the President and his cabinet for the past 8 years has been pushing liberal policy...I must have been asleep for the past decade...

ok let me deal with this one at a time. I am a woman. remember that. I am intelligent, not stupid. can we please keep the discussions logical and factual and respectful.

Obama's actions are not justified just because others have done the same thing. is that clear? imo this is an American problem and a media problem...good luck with it. I am not American.

the stock markets crashed worldwide because of the lack of regulation of lending practices in the housing market that was set up about 10 years ago by Clinton (um, liberal), money was lent to people for housing who could not afford to pay it back, and mortgages were sold sliced diced and priced on worldwide stock markets as securities backed by property assets... the assumption was that housing prices would defy gravity and forever rise and the market would forever cooperate. if the Liberals (or for that matter the masses) read the "Economics in One Lesson" book the current Liberal monetary policies would cease to exist because they are illogical and do not work. would you lend money to people who can't pay it back? you can thank the bankers and Clinton for the current worldwide economic crisis.

imo the only reason why Obama and the media paint the economy like an insurmountable obstacle is because the fear and confusion over the uneducated masses is good for political power and control. it's an emotional, illogical ploy. and since liberal policy caused the crisis in the first place he basically has to lie to cover up lies when it comes to the economy.

I wrote the white house 2 letters today:

I would be a lot more interested in investing in USA if USA would stop spending, pay off the national debt, and focus on actual wealth creation, not merely moving existing resources around.

What percentage of the national debt will Obama have paid off by the end of his first term?

In Europe, the countries are almost like little cities.

The USA has been the superpower of the world for some time.

There is a big difference when it comes to matters of defense.

I already wrote the White House about the issue of food control and I'm on their mailing list now. I own an agricultural business in Canada now. See my website for my views on food and self-sufficiency.

As far as the health care system it is being revised. It shouldn't cost much imo what with modern technology. In fact almost nothing should cost what it does if things were streamlined to keep up with the times.

What I meant by that is if you were in a management position of a country you have to oversee all areas that affect your country. You can't ignore national defense altogether, or the economy, or anything else, you have to manage and oversee them all.

If your government can't deal with the financial crisis or any other area, then they are incompetent and need to be replaced. There are 300 million Americans, I am sure at least one of them could do a good job. Unless people don't care and are too lazy. I write the White House frequently and I am Canadian. I don't believe in excuses.

No offense to Obama but he would not have been my first pick to fix the USA economy. Palin would have been. I don't care if you're running a family or a country, money and math are a basic science, and if Obama can't handle it, and people believe all his BS, then you have other issues than just incompetence. That's why I speak out all the time. If people are educated they can't be fooled.

Math is a linear science. You don't fix an economy with more spending and more debt any more than you fix your own finances that way.

I would say you can't pick and choose your issues you have to deal with them all.

might I add that some people wouldn't fight because that's where they buy and sell their illegal drugs and weapons. or because they fear violence in an irrational way. or because they don't understand the conflicts. or they are in denial.
