@Aaron Tobler, yes it is! Every other Wednesday. The next one will be on the 30th! It's a super chill meet up. We all just meet up and talk about anything and everything real estate! Welcome to BP Jason! I agree, definitely seems you have the entrepreneurial spirit. Real estate is a fun game to play and your skills of being resourceful and learning on your feet will be helpful. I am a bit south of where you are in Iola. If you have any general real estate questions definitely shoot me a message! 

Somebody correct me if I'm wrong but I thought WI state law says the landlord has to give the tenant at least a 12 hour notice to enter unless it's an emergency or the tenant agrees on a shorter time (like written in a lease perhaps or you call them and they say it's ok to enter sooner). Some cities in WI are even stricter like Madison where you have to give them a minimum of 24 hours.

@Jared Tillery , It doesn't sound like your ceiling and wall repair are an emergency. It also does not sound like she agreed to periodic drop bys in advance. However, I'm wondering if since you notified her the first time in advance if that covers you for the multiple ins and outs? Not 100% sure...Is it possible to get  work schedule from your contractor and just say on these dates you'll be entering to do repairs? I think that would be reasonable and fair.

I just wanted to say yesterday's Madison REI Club Meet up was awesome. Super pumped! Thank you to Meghan Mccallum (BP podcast guest 228) for coming up to Wisconsin to chat with us! I"m excited to do it again in 2 weeks :)

@Amy Soderman , yep the next meet up is Wednesday the 19th at 7 pm. It will NOT be at cargo coffee. The location is TBD. I'll definitely keep you updated! Hope to see you there! :)

Does anyone currently do the one LLC and multiple properties each in their own land trust idea in Wisconsin or anywhere really? The idea of a having one LLC name but still have asset protection is appealing. I know I gotta check with my attorney but just curious on people's experiences with it....
