Thanks Fred. Just ran the numbers for the Richardson property and there does not seem to be a lot of cash flow coming in even at a purchase price of 115k.

Do 2BR/2 Baths do okay in the houston market?

I am not ready to jump on a deal yet but have been analyzing properties for practice. I found this property at https://www.trulia.com/property/5034676902-6700-Ri...

It is a 2 bed 2 bath town home. Are town homes desirable as a rental property in Houston and is a 2 bed/2 bath an attractive combo?

This property seems to be in a low crime and good school rating location so seems to be a nice one...

Would anyone consider a property like this?

I noticed house listings do not show home builder information. Isn't this a useful info to have?

I mean I would not want to buy a home built by a non reputable builder..?

Hello,

Is there a more recent/accurate flood map for Houston somewhere? Trulia has a FEMA flood map but I noticed it's missing some spots which I knew flooded...

Thank you.

Trying to find a good site to determine rental pricing for a prospective property purchase. Is rentometer.com pretty reliable?

Thank you.

Hello,

Just learning to evaluate properties and was wondering what would be a good website to determine recent average household income for an area. http://www.city-data.com/ has some good information but the most recent information seems to be from 2013. Thank you.

Hello, what is usually an ideal age of a house to buy for rental property? Is there a certain number of years to avoid due to possibly hidden problems in foundation, plumping, etc...? Thank you

How does one determine quality of schools for an area?

How does one determine crime rate? How is this measured and which amount would usually indicate a B or C class property?

Hi Ryan D.,

Loving the info found at city-data.com. Do you determine quality of school from this site as well?
