Are you referring to Short Sale listings on the MLS? Any realtor with MLS access can send it to you by doing a simple search. @Joseph Tarallo

A 3 person partnership is tough, and I would not recommend it either. Focus on the deal getting, financing will come. There's a ton of investors in NJ so if you ever get a deal you cannot handle you can always JV with someone.

The 3 NJ meet-ups that are very good are NJRESN, NJREIA, NJREIC. You can usually find my partner and I there.

I would look into Jersey City and West New York, that is where a lot of action is. Newark as well but it is important to do a higher amount of due diligence there. Purchase price in Newark will probably be cheaper as well.

Welcome to the site! Essex County is a great place for investing, as well as NJ in general. There are 3 great monthly NJ meet-ups: NJRESN, NJREIA, NJREIC. My partners and I can be seen at all 3. Good luck!

I would definitely hit Hudson County. Great place for Buy and Hold. My company wholesales properties there to Buy and Holders all the time.

@Antonio Coleman Reason is that is the agreement with my partners for now, we are only interested in flipping. Long term we plan to get into Buying and Holding.

It seems I started posting and commenting on other threads and discussions without making my own introduction! Here is my formal hello everyone!

I am not so new to investing but fairly new to BP. I had an old account for a while but did not use it much. I am using this account a lot more and seeing so many benefits!

I originally began work as an engineer. I flipped one house and that was really it for me, I wanted to be an investor full-time here in New Jersey. I am from Middlesex county but I invest in Bergen, Hudson, Essex, Passaic, Morris and Union as well!

My goals are to network with investors in and out of NJ, gain a wealth of information and find great deals! We look for residential single and multifam flips, we either wholesale or rehab ourselves. We do not buy and hold. I look forward to networking and learning more from everyone here, even though some of you may have already seen me post in other threads.
