Bandit Signs are probably illegal in Plano. They are in Richardson. We don't use bandit signs for the simple reason they aren't legal in most locations, and we don't want that to be the first impression people have of our company.

You can get door hangers printed for what those signs will cost you and just blanket a target area with them.

Yeah...so, I'm on my computer now, rather than my Android.  It's the pits, but the content was actually easier to read on my Android mobile device, even with the full HD display on my laptop.  I'm also on board with the folks who don't like the fact so little content is displayed on a single screen.  It's hard to believe, but you guys seem to have made the font larger and harder to read/see all at the same time.  And, even though more space between lines is supposed to make materials easier to read, that applies more appropriately to printed materials than online content, because it forces too much scrolling and moving around, which interrupts reading flow and comprehension.  And, if you've read some of the forum posts around here, we can't afford less comprehension!!!

Also, now that I'm on my computer, I have the stickies at the top and bottom.  The problem with that is that the boxes are so large, I have only 5 lines of content between them.  The buttons in the top sticky are ridiculously large.

And, when I scroll within the reply sticky at the bottom, it scrolls the content, when I get to the top of the reply, even though my cursor is still hovering in the reply section.

I like most of what BP does, but your UX team really missed the mark on this one.

Nope Joel....Maybe this is a problem with the Android app, but I've got no avatar to hover over, so I truly can't scan for people whose comments I really care about.  I'm sorry, but I don't like it. And there is no sticky anything.

that was weird.  Before I posted the reply, I had no green dots and no vote indicator. The screen refreshed, after the post, now I have green things. So....forget my last statement.

I don't like the fact the Reply button takes me to an entirely new screen, at least on my mobile device. Sometimes I need to reread what I'm responding to.

Also, I can't find a vote button now.

I'm with Bill. My water bill in a 2,800 sq ft house in Charlotte was $45/month...a 2,500 sq ft in Dallas was closer to $120...and an 1,800 sq ft in Grapevine was about $35. Those are spring and fall numbers and none of the houses had sprinklers. How the heck would I know what was high just moving into a new place. I usually either ask up front or give it a when to see what my average is.

If it were me, I'd take the remainder off their rent, apologize and ask them to please let me know immediately, if they see any utility bills that appear to be out of line. Done.

There are investors who specialize in burned out houses. This is the same type of situation. You might search the forums for burned out and see if you can identify those folks in DFW.

@Alex Balan

Look for rentals listed in the area you're considering, then find comparable rentals in comparable quality neighborhoods of other locations, preferably locations you're familiar with.  If the rental rates are higher in the area you're considering, it's a good bet there is more demand there than inventory.  If the rates are comparable, then the demand is likely comparable.  Note that this only works if the areas are reasonable close and the areas are generally comparable...i.e. an outlying suburb on the north side of a major area compared to the same type of area on the south side.  You know, so don't compare a beach front community to one that is landlocked an situated next to a dump!  Here in the DFW area, I can reasonably compare Little Elm to Melissa.  They aren't identical, but there is enough similarities to get a gauge.  I'm sure someone will disagree with me, but I'm used to that.
