Thanks Bryan K. I've been hooked on the Podcast since joining two days ago. They are great. I chose St. Louis because of a mentor I have. They've been pretty successful there and cash flow well. I wanted to get my toes wet with a property that wouldn't cost too much upfront.

Austin is a great city and we like it a lot so far. I would love to purchase property here in the near future. The only thing I don't like are the property taxes! They're pretty high.

I look forward to meeting with other REI in the Austin area soon.

Hello Everyone!

My name is Ashlie, and I'm originally from Los Angeles California. The hubby and I moved to Austin (his job relocated us) 5 months ago after the birth of our first daughter. REI is something I have always been interested in and I'm happy to be taking the first steps towards financial FREEDOM!!! After leaving my job in California, I rolled my 401k over into a Self-Directed IRA. I then partnered with myself (50/50) and bought a SFH in St. Louis. To be honest, this was a strategy I had learned/heard about...but never thought I'd really use. And this ended up being how I purchased my very first investment property. I'm really excited to be apart of the BP community and I look forward to getting to know all of you.
