Newbie From Austin, TX

Hello Everyone!

My name is Ashlie, and I'm originally from Los Angeles California. The hubby and I moved to Austin (his job relocated us) 5 months ago after the birth of our first daughter. REI is something I have always been interested in and I'm happy to be taking the first steps towards financial FREEDOM!!! After leaving my job in California, I rolled my 401k over into a Self-Directed IRA. I then partnered with myself (50/50) and bought a SFH in St. Louis. To be honest, this was a strategy I had learned/heard about...but never thought I'd really use. And this ended up being how I purchased my very first investment property. I'm really excited to be apart of the BP community and I look forward to getting to know all of you.

Hi Mehran Kamari!

I chose St. Louis because I have a mentor that invest there and he's been pretty successful. Home prices are reasonable, and my ROI is AWESOME.

Austin is a beautiful city. People are friendly, plenty to do outdoors, and the weather is great minus the humidity at times. Overall, I am happy to be here. Can't wait to get out and explore with my baby girl!
