@Daria B.

yea that is the plan at least fingers crossed this works but I'm tired of reading up and studying I want to finally take some action.

Ok so I do have to honor those leases already in place and its 3 tenants spread across 3 units id be living in the unit that the tenant is leaving. I'm trying to house hack it'll be my first investment.
Also they are student rentals if that makes a difference.
Hey guys , So I just called a RE agent about a property in Gainesville, fl that I'm interested in. When I spoke to him he told me that 3 tenants have leases until next July with their property management while another is moving out this July. My question is if I buy this property will I have to make new leases with the current tenants because I wanted to do a little rehab before putting anyone in there.

 thanks for the insight so that's my first move then

Hey Bp i have a question for you guys, is it better for me to go ahead and contact the realtor of the property that I'm looking at first then get my financing together or vice versa? When i first started this I spoke to a realtor that seemed to rush me through the process w.o seeing a property yet to get me to speak to his recommended mortgage guy.

Whats up guys

Im a brand new investor in gainesville, fl looking to get into student rentals because I was a student for a while and at this point I cant say i know the market like the back of my hand and that i have all the tools and knowledge but 1 thing that i keep seeing is that if you wait till you know everything you'll never start so this is me starting lol. I really need an investor minded RE agent in my area. If anyone knows someone with a good track record and wont mind sharing i would really appreciate it. Thanks in advance

Hey bp I know these podcasts always say to find other investors in your area so I'm just looking for other investors in Gainesville,fl area to connect with. Experience isn't an issue to me, you can be new like me or be a vet, I just would like someone to talk to in person for once.

Hi BP community I don't normally post which I plan to change, most of the time I'm just reading through forums. But I'm wondering should I invest in a pro account on here from now or closer to my first deal? It's always been in my plans to get one I just never knew when would be a good time to do so. Any feedback would be appreciated.
