Just a reminder to let everyone know that we will not be meeting at the end of December (usually the last Thursday of the month) because of everyone's busy holiday schedule.  We will start our New Year of investing with our traditional meeting at the end of January.  I will post soon.

My sister-in-law is remodeling kitchen and everything must go ASAP! Would like to sell entire 13' x 20' kitchen, including cabinets, hardware, (3) pendant lights, appliances, double sink/faucet, island and granite counter tops. Asking $15,000 (will sell appliances separately if necessary).

Cabinets are custom made Amish birch. Beautiful, stylish and in good condition.

Appliances are all high end: Sub Zero fridge, Viking electric double oven, Bosch dishwasher.

I would contact an accountant and ask him what type of taxes the seller would be hit with upon the sale and use that in your sales pitch. Would he rather pay the tax or receive a monthly check from you?
