@James Figliozzi

I invest in Columbus, OH RE, huge growth to come from recent additions to the tech sector (google, intel, amazon, honda, and many start ups). Plans to were announced last month to invest $2B into the cities airport in anticipation of the population/business travel growth. Low taxes and landlord friendly.

Happy to help if you have any questions

@Adam Eckhoff

I invest in Columbus, OH. Expect something closer to $200/month of positive cashflow for a $200k turnkey rental here - unless this is a cash purchase

The best way I see to redeploy capital in our market is to find a property that needs some level of work with below market rents. Stabilize that property with updates and fill it with market rents and then refinance to move on to the next. (BRRRR method)

@Arnuv H.

If this would be a cash purchase that would be very doable in most midwest markets. Financed will be much tougher to achieve but the Cleveland market would be a good option

@Ahmad N.

Consider landlord restrictions, taxes, insurance cost, job growth along with rent to price ratio.

Columbus, OH would be a great fit for your buying criteria

@Wang Windy

I would consider investing out of state in a market that can put your money to best use. From that income fund your personal housing expenses

@Sidney Garcia

Columbus, OH is a lot of fun! There's plenty of job options, depending on your career. Landlord friendly, low taxes, and cheap insurance. There's been tons of recent growth and more to come from recent additions to the tech sector (google, intel, amazon, honda, and many start ups).

@Ofir R.

Sounds like Mister X is in a really good spot to invest, just has slightly unrealistic goals with $8k/month profit

I invest in Columbus RE, huge growth to come from recent additions to the tech sector (google, intel, amazon, honda, and many start ups). Plans to were announced last month to invest $2B into the cities airport in anticipation of the population/business travel growth. It's still early enough to find cash flowing deals that come with the appreciation that Columbus brings
