We are a group of investors focused on sharing experiences and helping each other navigate the ins and outs of real estate investment in Milwaukee Wisconsin and beyond. We also connect to other clubs in the Midwest to share ideas, information and opportunities. This time we are meeting at the Hoyt Park Beer Garden in Wauwatosa on August 3, 2017, 6:00PM. 

This is only our second meeting as a group and we hope to see even more there this time around.

@Account Closed At one time I had heard that they were having tax issues (essentially not enough taxes coming in to cover the budget), I'm not sure if that's still the case.

One unknown is that the village administrator position is open.  They do have a village president, so I'm not sure how much power the administrator position will have.  I personally have always felt it was pretty redundant to have both positions.

One development firm is trying to rezone and buy a 37-acre area near the corner of Green bay (hwy 31) & Spring St. (hwy c) with the hopes of building multi-family on it.

They are also having the same kind of single family sale boom that everywhere seems to be having. Low inventory, and quick sales.

I am now tapped on my Mount Pleasant knowledge.

@Bryan Caprioli I'd also be interested in getting info on your tri-plex in New Berlin.  I have a list of clients interested in that area, as I'm sure you know nothing comes available there.

@Jason Ireland I rep investors in all of southeast Wisconsin.  We had investors close on multi's from greenfield, Milwaukee, Waukesha, West Allis, etc.  Would love to talk area with you.  We currently have a 6-unit off-market opportunity as well in Washington county.

If anyone is interested in objecting to their assessments this year let me know.  The deadline is May 15th.  We are currently working on a few objections. However, the more objections completed the bigger the message we can potentially send to the city.  We'd also like to submit them all at once, we drop a big enough stack on them at one time perhaps they will take notice!
