@Scott Forney I tried to get rhino, but they gave me the run around. The sales guy told me they typically serve people that own 50 units or more. I guess I was too small for them.

Has anyone ever used Rhino or guarantor instead of collecting a security deposit? I can't seem many reviews on either company. They advertise as an insurance policy to cover losses rather than having a security deposit. These companies screen the tenant and offer a monthly payment plan for coverage. Supposedly, this helps the landlord rent their units faster and helps the tenant save money on a large security deposit.

@Kyle Mccaw does rhino cover damage to properties? Or does it just cover default on rents?

@Taylor L. I was looking at information on Rhino and found this thread. Does rhino cover damage caused by tenants? Or does the policy only cover lost rent? How do you like using the service so far?

@Kazi R. I drive a 2018 Chevy Traverse. I house hack a duplex so my tenants see my vehicle all the time. My tenants drive an older Mitsubishi. I don't think my vehicle is too flashy and I work as a travel nurse so having something reliable is important.
