I need help from my BP Colleagues. I'm looking into investing in a property in Brooklyn, NYC. It's a multi unit, asking $765K ARV comps range from $995K-$1.050.M that's being fairly conservative. Reno, roughly, $95K, extra funds padded in there for those unforseen extras that pop up with renovations. Can anyone recommend a reliable hard money lender who can fund the deal based on the property? Also provide POF? I really need to get a deal done quickly. Can anyone HELP!? Thank you in advance.

Hi @Marc Celestin, do you know anything about the Newark NJ market and how I can get some good comps in that area?  I'm looking at a few properties there and working on building a team there. Also, do you know some reputable, reliable, contractors?

Hi William,

Welcome to BP a s congratulations on your new Real Estate career. I'm telling you right now, NY and California are 2 markets that are not a great place for newbies to start. What you should do is find a Bigger Pockets meet up group, or A REIA to join. There you can ask questions and learn so much and be around other investors. I actually in a good area to start investing. Start looking for properties, you can use the BP yo find them. Once you find a few run them through the calculators on BP to see if they are good deal. This way you're getting practice. I hope they helps. Good luck.
